Help

If you ever feel you are suffering alone or your suffering is unnoticed, please reach out. Keep a mental or actual note of people you find helpful with certain things. Having that is a constant reminder that you are not alone and that people are there to help you if you need it! We do have the power to chose our emotions or find ways to reach better feeling emotions. Choice is exactly that, power. Choose to feel powerful by reaching out to get to a place of inner peace.

There is usually at least one 1-800 number for help of all kinds, and most, if not all, are anonymous! I’ve used a few myself. If you are trying to quit smoking, feeling really sad or have been hurt in some way please look it up, there is most likely a 1-800 number that could help. There is always some comfort in talking about things just to get them out. Sometimes you don’t want to talk to someone who knows you and your situation, you just want to talk to someone who doesn’t know you at all, just to release.

Admitting you need help is a sign of strength. Someone could be standing by the light switch while you are stumbling around in the dark, so say something. Speaking up is the only way for anyone to know you need some light. I have listed a couple of links to those numbers here:
